Privacy Policy
Last updated October 22, 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when we deliver catering, what we use it for, and who handles it for us.
Who we are
Catering Delivery Partners delivers catering for restaurants. This policy covers this website, including the page where you book a delivery, our restaurant portal, and our driver app. "We" and "us" in this policy mean Catering Delivery Partners. The rules for booking, paying for and cancelling a delivery are in our Terms of Service.
What we collect
What we collect depends on how you deal with us.
- Restaurants, and anyone who books a delivery or writes to us through a form. Your name, email address and phone number, the name of your restaurant or company, the pickup and drop-off addresses, and the details of the order: what is being delivered, when, and any instructions. In the restaurant portal, also the order documents you upload for us to read.
- People receiving a delivery. Your name, your phone number, the drop-off address and any delivery instructions. The restaurant, or whoever booked the delivery, gives us these.
- Drivers. You apply to drive through GigSafe, which holds your application, your documents, your W-9 and your payments. In our driver app we hold your name, email address, phone number and sign-in details, and the messages you exchange with our dispatch team. You sign in with your email address and a password; older accounts can also use a username. The app collects your location from the moment you tap I'll be there for a job until you confirm that job's last drop-off, including while the app is in the background. It collects none between jobs. Restaurants whose order you are carrying see your location on a map while that job is under way — not your name or phone number. If the restaurant is part of a chain, the chain's head office can see the same. At each pickup and each drop-off you take a photo in the app, as proof that it happened. The first time you sign in, we record that you agreed to how the app uses your location and photos, which version of those words you saw, and when. When a delivery came to us from an ordering platform, that platform receives your name and phone number too, and may receive your location; see "Who processes it for us" below. Once you have collected a delivery and it is your next stop, the person receiving it can see on its tracking page where your phone last reported, until you confirm the drop-off. From when a delivery is assigned to you until you confirm the drop-off, the person receiving it can also see your first name on its tracking page and call you through our phone line. They do not see your phone number. Those calls may be recorded, and recordings are kept for 30 days. If you call them from your own phone, they see your number, as on any call.
- Anyone who calls us. Calls to our phone lines may be recorded, and each call says so at the start. Recordings, voicemails included, are kept for 30 days, unless we need one to deal with a complaint. Our team is sent a note of each missed call and voicemail: when it came, who called — a restaurant by its name, someone waiting for a delivery by their name and the order number, or anyone else by the number they called from — and a written transcript of the voicemail.
- Visitors to this website. We use Google Analytics to measure how this website is used: which pages are visited, the type of device and browser, an approximate location (such as the city) and the site or link that brought you here. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser for this. It is not used on the delivery tracking pages, on the driver password page or on the pages shown after a booking is paid or cancelled, and the page addresses it is sent leave out anything after a "?" or "#". We use no advertising cookies. You can turn Google Analytics off in your browser with Google's opt-out add-on.
How we use it
We use personal data to:
- plan and make deliveries, and give the driver the pickup and drop-off details;
- price deliveries;
- send a tracking link about a delivery. The tracking page shows how far the delivery has got, the driver's first name and, while the delivery is under way, a button that calls the driver through our phone line, and the proof-of-delivery photo. It does not show the driver's phone number. Once the food has been collected and the delivery is the driver's next stop, it also shows where the driver's phone last reported, until the delivery is handed over;
- invoice restaurants and work out what we pay drivers;
- answer questions, reply when you contact us, and support a delivery while it is under way.
Who processes it for us
These are the services we use, and what each one does with personal data:
- Supabase holds our data, including orders, accounts, messages and delivery photos, and runs the functions behind our website, portal and apps.
- Vercel serves this website.
- Google Maps finds addresses and works out distances. On the booking page, the address search runs in your browser: Google receives what you type into the address boxes, along with technical information such as your IP address. On a delivery's tracking page, the map is drawn by Google in your browser, so Google receives technical information such as your IP address.
- Stripe takes card payments on its own payment page. It receives your card details, which never reach us, and the email address you booked with.
- Telnyx delivers our text messages and runs our phone lines. It receives the phone number and the message, records calls and keeps the recordings for us, and transcribes voicemails.
- Telegram carries our team's private chat, where we send ourselves notices about our work: booking requests, enquiries from this website, messages restaurants send us in the portal, and notes of missed calls and voicemails, with who called and a written transcript of the voicemail.
- Resend sends our automated emails about a booking, such as our answer to it. It receives the email address and the message.
- GigSafe takes driver applications: the application, the documents and the screening checks. It also holds drivers' W-9 forms and pays drivers for us.
- Anthropic reads the order documents a restaurant uploads in the portal, so that the request form can be filled in from them.
- Expo, and then Apple or Google, deliver notifications to the driver app. A notification carries no delivery details; it asks the driver to open the app. Expo also delivers updates to the driver app. When the app checks for an update, Expo receives technical information such as the app version and a random identifier for that installation.
- IONOS hosts our mailboxes, so it holds the emails you send to our addresses.
Some deliveries come to us from an ordering platform that a restaurant uses. For those, we send that platform updates on the delivery: its status, the driver's full name and phone number while the delivery is under way, and the photo taken at drop-off. These updates may also carry the driver's location.
Text messages (SMS)
We send text messages only about deliveries. We send no marketing messages. You can reply STOP to any message to stop them. Our SMS Terms describe the program in full.
We never sell your mobile number or your SMS opt-in, and we do not share either with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use advertising trackers. Apart from Google Analytics' cookies, described above, this website sets no cookies of its own. The restaurant portal uses your browser's own storage to remember that you are signed in, and for nothing else.
- We do not keep your IP address in our own records. The companies that host our website and our services process technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and answer requests.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data for as long as we need it to make deliveries, to invoice for them, and to meet our legal obligations.
Recordings of calls to our phone lines, voicemails included, are kept for 30 days, unless we need one to deal with a complaint.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to us at support@cateringdeliverypartners.com. Where the law requires us to hold a record, such as an invoice, we may not be able to delete it.
If you are a driver, see Deleting your driver account, below.
Deleting your driver account
This section is for drivers who use CDP Driver, the driver app of Catering Delivery Partners. It explains how to ask us to delete your driver account, what we delete, and what we keep and why.
How to ask. Email us at support@cateringdeliverypartners.com with the subject line "Delete my driver account", from the email address you sign in with. If you still sign in with a username, include it. There is no way to create an account in the app and no button to delete one there: our team does both. When your account has been deleted, we will email you to confirm.
What we delete. We delete your driver account and, with it:
- your sign-in details: your email address, your password and any username;
- your name and phone number;
- the identifier we use to send notifications to the app on your phone.
What we keep, and why. We keep these records after your account is deleted:
- Records of the deliveries you made, such as the time of each stop and the photos taken at pickup and drop-off. We keep them to invoice for those deliveries and to answer a dispute about one, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Your earnings and payment records, which show what you earned for each job and what you were paid. We keep them to answer a question about a payment, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- The messages you exchanged with our dispatch team. We keep them with the delivery records, to answer a question or a dispute about a job.
- The record that you agreed to how the app uses your location and photos: which version of those words you saw, and when. We keep it as proof of that agreement.
If a job came to us from an ordering platform, that platform received your name and phone number for that job and keeps its own records; to have those deleted, ask the platform.
Your location. While you were on a job, the app sent us your location. Our operations team can see those location records for 30 days after they were sent. After that, they are shown to no one, our team included.
GigSafe. GigSafe holds your application, your documents, your W-9 and your payments. Deleting your account with us does not delete them: ask GigSafe separately. GigSafe cannot delete the record of a driver it has paid.
Children
Our services are for restaurants and businesses, the people receiving their deliveries, and our drivers. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Changes
When we change this policy, we change it on this page and update the date. Last updated October 22, 2026.
