Terms of Service
Last updated October 22, 2026
These terms are the rules for using our delivery service: booking, paying, cancelling, and what happens when something goes wrong. By booking or requesting a delivery, you agree to them.
Who we are and what we do
Catering Delivery Partners delivers catering. We pick up food from a restaurant and take it to the address we are given, for restaurants that work with us and for customers who book on this website. We do not cook, prepare or sell the food.
"We" and "us" mean Catering Delivery Partners. "You" means the restaurant or customer who books the delivery.
The food
The restaurant is responsible for the food itself: what is in it, its quality, allergens and labels, the amount, and how it is packed. Questions about any of these go to the restaurant. We are responsible for carrying the food with care and handing it over as it was packed.
Booking and payment
- On this website, you pay by card. When you press Pay, the amount is held on your card, not taken. Your card is charged only when we accept the booking. If we do not accept it, or the time to answer runs out, the hold is released and nothing is charged.
- Restaurants that work with us get one invoice a week, for that week's deliveries. Payment is due on the Wednesday after the week ends.
- The earliest pickup you can book on this website is 90 minutes after you book. A restaurant's earliest pickup is the one in its agreement with us.
Cancellations and refunds
- We never charge a cancellation fee.
- Cancelling is free until the driver has collected the food, even if a driver has already been assigned. You get back everything you paid.
- Once the driver has collected the food, the delivery fee is not refunded if you cancel.
- If the driver cannot reach the recipient at the drop-off, the delivery fee is not refunded.
To cancel a booking made on this website, write to us at support@cateringdeliverypartners.com. A restaurant cancels in its portal: on its own until a driver is assigned, and after that by sending us a request to cancel.
A refund goes back to the card you paid with. Depending on your bank, it takes 5–10 business days to show. For a restaurant, the refund is taken off its next weekly invoice.
Problems with a delivery
- If something is wrong with a delivery, tell us within 24 hours of the drop-off and send photos of the problem. Write to us at support@cateringdeliverypartners.com.
- If a restaurant disagrees with an invoice, it tells us within 14 days of receiving it, at restaurants@cateringdeliverypartners.com.
Our driver takes a photo at drop-off, and we record the time of each stop and, where the driver's phone shares it, the driver's location. When we look into a problem, these records are what we go by.
Our liability
- If we are responsible for a problem with a delivery, the most we pay is the delivery fee for that order.
- We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as a missed event or lost business.
- If food is damaged through our mistake, we may choose to make a goodwill payment. We decide this case by case; it is not a promise.
Text messages and privacy
We send the person receiving a delivery one text message with a link to track it. Our SMS Terms describe those messages. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia. Any dispute about them is decided by the courts in Washington, DC.
Changes and contact
When we change these terms, we change them on this page and update the date. Last updated October 22, 2026.
